The Board of Directors is composed solely of Savoy Park unit owners. Board members are elected by Savoy Park owners. Any owner in good standing may run for the Board.
There are five positions on the Board: president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and a director-at-large. These positions are decided by the directors annually as well as when there are vacancies on the board. Board members serve for staggered three-year terms of office. They may, however, serve for additional terms if reelected. New elections are held at the fall Annual Meeting as terms of office expire.
Board members are not compensated in any way and have no special privileges or exemptions. Board of Directors meetings are held monthly
in the clubhouse at 7:30 PM. All residents are encouraged to attend. Check the calendar for the next meeting date.
In addition to the regular Board meetings, it is not unusual for the Board to meet more often if necessary. Between meetings, Board members also communicate with each other via e-mail and over the telephone.
